Gusto King Burger
Tuesday, 27 October 2009
In other Japanese Burger related news, Gusto Japan has released a new item on their menu, something I've never seen before.
The Gusto King Burger.
For ¥599 + tax you get a really nice burger with chips. There's a nice amount of salad, no tomato (yay) and it is bigger than a quarter pounder.
It actually tastes fresh.
For someone who has been eating McDonalds for a very long time in Japan, with their bland burgers, this made a really nice change.
I've made a plans with my son to go back again this Friday for another one.
How about you? Do you have any Japanese burger recommendations?

hey i know your a bit too old to listen to music but do you know of any good tunes in japan?
Looks like a good burger to me, I'm from America, now living in Philippines and best I can do here is McDonalds. You are making me hungry!
@GrammarGirl
It's really good. I went back for another!
¥628 (inc tax) for a burger and fries is a little more expensive than a Big Mac set, but it's SOOOO much better.
Too OLD to listen to music? My iPod has over 10K songs on it. My PC even more. More like, you are too young to appreciate the good stuff.
@Dave
McDonalds is pretty ordinary. It's clean, cheap, safe and ordinary. Anything good is more expensive.
I think you could go to Guam and get some good American stuff there...
so does japan sell any japanese food or is it just like burgers? or do you just burgers?
gawd id embarresed if my dad was wlking down the street listening to his ipod...
There are many good restaurants that sell heaps of good food in Japan.
I just like burgers. I like writing about them as they are not a traditional Japanese food, so when I can find them it is a special moment for me.
how about mos burger?
Mos is good, but not as good as this.
And the local Mos only sells diet pepsi, I will never drink the stuff.
