Ultraman Toys
>> Friday, 14 August 2009
When I saw the toy cars that I wrote about yesterday, I also found these Ultraman Dolls Action Figures.
1,2,3,4
....29?
Who on earth would collect all of these figures? What child's parents would buy every single one of these? I believe that these toys are aimed at the Otaku market where grown men will buy all of these figures so they can re-live a happy time from their childhood.
These days HyperRescue (a kind of emergency services Power Rangers) and Kamen Rider are much more popular with the "act out the kung fu fighting moves from tv" range of boys. And yes, my son is now entering this group.
What do you think? Are these figures for Otaku only? Is Ultraman dead?

Contamination,
you got to be kidding me right? Raimie has all (except Ultraman Agul figure - that #27).
I can't believe you didn't think of us when you saw those figures!
Didn't I?
Just because I didn't put that private thought on the post, doesn't mean that "Gee Lina would like to see these" didn't go through my head...
^_^
I bought all the Lord of the Rings toys...And you can laugh; I also bought all the Highlander the Series stuff too! I am Duncan Macleod of the clan Macleod, and there can be only one. I still have my Highlander Fan Club Official Member card that gave me 10% off of merchandise. hehe.
OMG, how much stuff do you have in your home??
