Toy Cars

The other day I took my son up to the local department store's toy section, just for him to wander around and dream. He already has too many toys as it is, he's not getting anything else until his birthday.

Look what I found.

Here are the die cast metal toy cars, you can actually see the car inside the display case drawer.

Once you pull out the drawer you can grab a box and take it home! I think this is a great way for kids to find out exactly what they will be getting without any nasty surprises. The plastic cover over the toys is just a sheet and you can easily take out the toy car.

What do you think? Is this a good idea? Or does it pose a temptation for theft?
