More Drunk Guys
What is it with young Japanese men being passed out, drunk, in public places.
On my way to work on Saturday morning I found these two champions at 07:53.
As you can see they have been having fun with beer from the convenience store across the road. Maybe they were preparing to join the homeless guy who usually sleeps on another bench the other side of the road?
Or maybe it's testament to how safe Japan is? After all, I couldn't imagine doing this in Australia.

I think you're definitely right about the safety of passing out anywhere in Japan. In most places, its vital to end up at home or with a friend after a night out because you never know when you might wake up in a bathtub full of ice with your kidney (and wallet) missing.
I guess that idea doesn't really happen to often in Japan.
You would think the guy on the left could have found a more comfortable place to sleep.
I though it was a posed photo initially as their sleeping positions seem to be nicely coincidental. :P
It's probably a sign of how safe it is in Japan... did you check whether their wallets were still with them?

How many times have you woken up in a tub of ice with your kidneys missing? Happened all the time to me back in Sydney.
