Rain Rain Go Away

Rain Rain go away, come again another day.

It's been raining the last few days and the forecast is for more.

It's a good thing that I haven't put away my Winter jackets as the last two days have been unseasonably cold.

I appreciate how it clears the smog out of the air, I appreciate how it helps the plants to grow and supply drinking water. But it doesn't mean I have to enjoy the constant rain.

Let me see the sun!

I actually like the rain. It seems kind of...romantic to me since we hardly ever see any rain here in Honolulu, Hawaii. As a matter of fact, Honolulu is on the verge of entering a drought since hardly any rain fell during Hawaii's "wet season" (October - February, I believe) this year and there's no rain in the forecast until the wet season starts up again. Don't forget your umbrella!! :o)

It almost never rains here in L.A. The problem with that though is that the hills always look brown and dead and the streets and sidewalks are often dirty because the dirt and dustdoes not get washed away.

Me too, but there are different types of rain. And what we are experiencing is just light annoying rain, not the cleansing downpour I'd like to see.

@Tornadoes
I can agree with that. In winter it's very dry for the entire season, so there is a lot of dirt and dust that accumulates everywhere. It's a bit of an eyesore.
